Home / Showcase / Bacon Vista Barn

This lake house is the second home for a Texas family. The traditional board and batten exterior of this peaked-gables barn home recalls the tradition of a simple, but elegant, prairie home from the nineteenth century. By joining two separate barn frames into this one home, the owners have created a spacious interior that reveals a wonderfully built and decorated home, that opens onto an equally spacious stone patio framed by a limestone wall. The interior is well light, allowing the antique ceiling boards and beams to stand out.

The total square feet says 1,200, but then you have other dimensions? Is the total finished square footage as the pictures shows of the Granbury, TX barn 1,200 sq.ft?

At the tallest point how high is the barn interior ceiling?

Also can I get the address or arrange with the owners (free bottle of wine for them! :D) to come view this beautiful barn in Granbury, TX? I live in Austin, TX and looking at viewing a half a dozen or more house barns in Texas over the weekends over the next few months.
