This heavy timbered sawn hemlock barn was built circa 1870 near the town of Sharon Springs, NY, and is restored in Texas as a working barn. The barn is very true to it's original form, with rough sawn eastern white pine clapboard siding, plank and cleat style barn doors, and hand forged iron hardware. Reerected alongside a nicely restored 1850's stone house, the barn's new location has much of the same pastoral character of an original mid 1800's homestead.
