Here is a New York barn that has been restored in the Texas Hill Country with a wonderful German twist. The German settlers to Texas in the mid-1800’s used a type of timber-framed construction called “fachwerk” in which the spaces between the timbers were in-filled with mortar and limestone. And that is the effect that has made this barn in to a unique workspace for, what else, restoring vintage Ford Shelbys!
Having Heritage Restorations here to put up our barn is a family memory like no other. We are truly blessed to have this barn. The beams and workmanship are remarkable. The whole process was smooth and rewarding. We hope to do it again.
