In the spring of 2006, Heritage Restorations restored and reerected a hand-hewn Dutch timber frame barn, built originally circa 1760 in the Mohawk River Valley of upper New York state. The barn’s anchor beams, with their traditional rounded tenons, measure 18′ x 22′ x 30′ long. The restored barn now stands outside Dallas, Texas and will serve as a community center.
“The grandest and most elegant barns ever built in America.”
— John Fitchen, Architectural Historian
